Dr. Jonathan Wray
Hello, I’m Jonathan Wray, Vet and Director at GP Vets. I qualified as a veterinary surgeon (MRCVS) back in 1983, at the Royal Veterinary College, London. I joined Ray, Gough and Dolan in 1990, becoming a co-owner of Gough & Partners in 1992 and GP Vets in 2007. I have been seeing first line general practice cases latterly in Basingstoke since 1990 and undertake internal diagnostic referrals. My special veterinary interests are diagnostics, plus general medical problems for both dogs and cats – as well as running an enthusiastic, high quality, veterinary practice breaking new boundaries in pet health care. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the outdoors by walking with the best dog in the world, Bertie the Border Terrier and travelling to France with my wife and, of course, Bertie. When I’m not caring for GP Vets’ pets I have a dog of my own called Bertie, who I may have already mentioned. By the way, Bertie can be found most mornings answering the phones, making appointments and taking treats in reception at Basingstoke.
